Tonya Fahari has been dancing since she was 4 years old in a range of styles including tap, jazz, ballet, belly dancing, hip-hop, and everything in between. She found ballroom dancing at the age of 15 and fell in love! She began teaching at 20 years old and realized she loved teaching just as much as, if not more than, dancing itself!
“There’s just something indescribable about watching my students gain this great confidence from learning how to dance. I still get giddy taking on a new student whose hesitant and maybe a little nervous, and watching them blossom throughout their dance journey. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Some of my students are busy couples who use our lessons as their weekly date night. Some are using their dance lessons as exercise or physical therapy. Some are newly engaged and looking to learn a few steps so they don’t feel silly during their first dance as husband and wife. And some of my students are simply looking for a way to be able to go out and meet people. Whatever the reason is, I’m honored to be a part of their story.”
